Public Trust in Judicial Officers is Growing

Trust in judicial officers has increased by 7% over the last year. Since last autumn, the number of inhabitants who would ask judicial officers to help them recover their debts has been icreased by 5 percents.

Mediation – a new legal service of judicial officers

Upon the entry into force of the amendments to the Article 21 of the Law of Republic of Lithuania on Judicial Officers, from 13th of July 2017 judicial officers can provide more legal services. Their list is complemented by mediation in dispute resolution.

The representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia and the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Latvia are interested in a new service of judicial officers which is serving of foreign documents.
